PAUL DRESHER

Brief: Design a poster for a musical performance by Paul Dresher, combine text and images that display fusion on surface + message to create a dynamic image. 

Concept: My attempt to focus on the patterns and textures of different instruments to create an abstract montage of photographs.  I made the structure of the image simple, allowing it to flow while drawing attention to the text and open space.   A minimal amount of color is used to guide the user's eye throughout the poster.  The aesthetics used within this poster demonstrate the style of Composer Paul Dresher and Percussionist Joel Davel’s music.
